Delivery
The most important phase to the consumer is the delivery and playback portion of the overall experience. The RMS helps the distributor to be able to intelligently deliver the properly provisioned content to a specific consumer and device.
Most importantly RMS provides for the ability to deliver media to devices that may be portable and not have the benefit of connection directly to a PC. They may only have a wireless connection to the internet. The system will provide the distributor with a confirmation of receipt from that target device.
